Elizabeth K. Banks
CEO/Founder
Elizabeth K. Banks is the founder of I Matter Youth Center, Inc. I am the overseer of all directors of programs and the Board of Directors. I make sure all programs are provided the materials for every program to meet quality and the quality of services. I have over 30 years working with ages of children to adolescence. To provide on-going training, professional developments, connecting with the community, continue to encourage everyone to be mentors with our program recipients. My educational background: Early childhood educator AA degree, B.S degree Human Services, master’s degree public administration. I have over 30 years of working with children , staff, parents and the community.
Jeanelle Edwards
Director of Special Education Program
Jeanelle Edwards is the director of the special education program. She is a licensed special education teacher with 9 years of experience in special education. She has not only worked in the classroom as a teacher but also as an ABA therapist. She specializes in working with children with learning and developmental delays and works closely with families to decrease maladaptive behaviors. She has a passion for children and their education.
Suzann Allen
Director of Youth Program
Suzann Allen is the Senior Mentor of the youth programs/ Board of directors. Suzann has experience in working with the youth for over 20 years. She also has worked with children privately, school-based cases, and preschool programs. I have an Associate Degree and Certificate with children with special needs.
Nikki Banks
Director Outreach Program
Outreach Liaison, I Matter Youth Center
With over 20 years of experience in customer service, sales, and real estate, Nikki Banks brings a wealth of expertise and passion to her role as Outreach Liaison for the I Matter Youth Center. As a Global REALTOR® for over a decade, specializing in luxury properties, Nikki has built an international network and developed strong relationships across various communities. Her dedication to service extends beyond real estate to supporting youth development through her position on the board of I Matter Youth Center. Leveraging her professional skills, Nikki is committed to fostering partnerships and expanding outreach to empower and uplift young people.
